Hey! I'm Joana, -pronounced like Jonah- a West Michigan photographer who loves capturing genuine moments and real connections. I graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2007 with a degree in photography and started shooting professionally in 2008. I love working with families, high school seniors, and couples—basically anyone who wants to document a little slice of life as it is. Whether we’re laughing through a family session or catching golden hour with a senior, I’m here to make you feel comfortable, have fun, and preserve your moments.

With over 17 years of experience and a degree in photography, I bring a wealth of expertise to every session. With a background in film photography, I guarantee your photos will be high quality and ready for your wall frames. I'm also working towards establishing an indoor photography studio to enhance my range of services.
